Our land team identified an opportunity in The New Forest National Park’s (NFNP) housing numbers. Stratland Estates subsequently purchased a 7.11 acre site and promoted the land through the Local Plan process.
Stratland Estates experience identified this as a potential development site and utilised the skills of their team of consultants to promote the land through the Local Plan process.
Whilst maintaining a close rapport with the NFNP, the land was allocated in August 2019 for Circa 60 units.
Greenfield Agricultural land on the edge of the settlement boundary of the New Forest National Park (NFNP). Stratland Estates took the decision to purchase the land, believing it held future residential potential.
NFNP has allocated very few sites in their history, due to the enormous constraints that National Parks have. Our sensitive approach to local needs, trees and ecology were paramount in negotiations with the NFNP.
After three years of successful promotion and working very closely with the council, the land formally allocated in August 2019.
